Resume: Welcome

Gymshark

April 2017 - Current
UK

Currently working as part of the women's design team creating technical activewear and swimwear. Each season I design multiple trend driven capsules, alongside core franchises, closely following the creative direction and seasonal strategies/briefs I have been given. I design on average around 30 styles per season and I also solely design Gymshark’s swimwear and underwear ranges (from SS18 onwards). In addition to this I have designed a technical sports bra range, consisting of low support to high support, all of which have been tested in a testing facility and achieve the directed support level. I have a very close relationship with developers, meaning I can pro-actively solve problems we come across during the creative process. As great team player I work very well within a team. I currently mentor a junior and interns within the team and guide them through the process from designing to fitting to tech packing. Alongside this I have weekly 1:1’s with my junior, and progress report meetings for her personal development.
